General Information

Due to the entry into force of the amendment to the "Law on Information Society Services" (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of users of all websites that use non-essential cookies before they navigate through them.

What are cookies?

Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies, or pixels are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site. Through the use of these devices, the web server can remember certain user-related data, such as their preferences for viewing pages on that server, name and password, most interested products, etc.

Cookies affected by regulations and exempt cookies

According to EU directives, cookies that require informed consent from users are analytics cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user are exempt.

What types of cookies exist?

By ownership:

First-party cookies: These are those sent to the user's terminal from a computer or domain managed by the publisher and from which the requested service is provided.

Third-party cookies: These are those sent to the user's terminal from a computer or domain not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

By duration:

Session cookies: These are cookies designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a webpage.

Persistent cookies: These are cookies in which data remains stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed over a defined period determined by the cookie owner, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

By functionality: Necessary cookies: These are essential for the proper functioning of the website. They do not collect any user data and gather information such as language preferences, whether the cookie policy has been accepted, etc.

Analytical cookies: These cookies, whether processed by us or by third parties, allow us to quantify the number of users and thus measure and statistically analyze the use that users make of the offered service. To do this, we analyze their navigation on our website to improve the range of products or services we offer.

Advertising or marketing cookies: These allow the efficient management of advertising spaces that, if applicable, the publisher has included in a website, application, or platform from which the requested service is provided based on criteria such as the edited content or the frequency with which ads are displayed.

Behavioral advertising or personalized marketing cookies: These allow for the efficient management of advertising spaces that, if applicable, the publisher has included in a website, application, or platform from which the requested service is provided. These cookies store information about user behavior obtained through continuous observation of their browsing habits, enabling the development of a specific profile to display targeted advertising. It is also possible that when visiting a website or opening an email containing an ad or promotion for our products or services, a cookie may be installed in your browser that allows us to subsequently show you related advertising based on your previous searches, as well as control our ads in relation to, for example, how many times they are viewed, where they appear, at what times they are seen, etc.
